Work truck backs over Left side of shell
We do not believe in condeming these hats if they are repairable. KM stands the test...This hat was tweeked on the left side by the back tire of a work truck. The shell had been painted red, over the KM Yellow.
We were able to strip the shell, repair the inserts and bottom Helmet ring.

Red hat lives to dive another day

One of our best company helmets
This hat was repainted because the customer did not like yellow. There was no documentation that it had been painted prior to an inspection. Inspection required us to see the shell for any hidden cracks. This called for sanding the hat.
As you can see below the hidden dangers that paint can conceal.

Sometimes you have to get a repairs to the shell
This hat had major cracks in it at regulator, top handle, and Neck ring fractures. All were concealed by rattle can paint job.
We were able to salvage all parts install new soft goods kit and repair the shell.
